Brian M. RowlsonAssociate

BRIAN M. ROWLSON is an associate in the Ft. Lauderdale office of Smith, Currie & Hancock LLP. Brian was born and raised in the Tampa, Florida area, and received his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Florida State University in 1998. He obtained a Masters of Business Administration Degree from the University of South Florida in 2001, with areas of specialization in Finance, Organizational Management, and Management of Information Systems. While in graduate school, Brian worked for an accounting firm that conducted audits and reviews primarily for construction and real estate clients in the west central Florida area.

Brian received his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law in December of 2006. Brian is a member of both the Florida and North Carolina bars, and is also a member of the Phi Delta Phi legal honors fraternity (Cardozo Inn).

Brian currently practices in the areas construction law, government contracts, and environmental law. Prior to joining Smith, Currie & Hancock LLP, Brian practiced law in the State of North Carolina for two years, where he primarily represented flooring subcontractors and material and equipment suppliers in disputes in Florida and North Carolina.
