G. Fritz HainAssociate

FRITZ HAIN is an associate in the Atlanta office of Smith, Currie & Hancock LLP, and focuses his practice on construction law, environmental law, and government contracting.  Fritz attended Florida International University in Miami, Florida, and received his Bachelor of Science degree with high honors in Construction Management. 

Prior to law school, he accumulated over 10 years of experience in the construction industry, gaining experience as a craftsman, project engineer, and project manager.  Fritz acquired a broad base of construction knowledge while building such projects as:  semiconductor manufacturing facilities, data centers, research and development facilities, parking garages, pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, and healthcare facilities.

Fritz received his Juris Doctor with high honors from Florida State University College of Law in Tallahassee, Florida.  While at Florida State, he performed extensive volunteer work for Legal Services of North Florida and he was a member of the Intellectual Property Society.  Fritz also gained valuable government contracting experience while working as a summer associate in NASA’s Office of the Chief Counsel in Cape Canaveral, Florida.  He earned an Outstanding Pro Bono Service Certificate for his work with low-income clients, was nominated for the Florida Bar Student Professionalism Service Award, and was elected into The Order of the Coif.

Fritz currently holds a Certified Building Contractor license in the State of Florida.  He is also a U.S. Green Building Council LEED Accredited Professional and has been involved in various capacities with the U.S. Green Building Council, including as a past member of the Board of Directors for the San Diego Chapter.
