Jonathan YiAssociate

JONATHAN YI is an associate in the Atlanta office and focuses his practice on construction litigation and government contracts.

He represents both domestic and international clients in a variety of industries on all aspects of the construction project process—from drafting and negotiating construction related agreements, litigating disputes before courts, arbitral tribunals, and administrative agencies to pursuing appeals at the state and federal level. He has extensive experience litigating claims arising from project delay, acceleration, termination, design and construction defect, as well as suretyship disputes.

He also advises service and construction clients on local, state and federal government contract matters. Recent experience includes assisting clients in achieving compliance with local government bid solicitation requirements, state level and GAO bid protests, and litigation before the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals.

Jonathan received his B.A. with Highest Honors from the University of Florida, where he was a University Scholar, J. Wayne Reitz Scholar and recipient of a fellowship to study the economic and educational mobility of former guest worker communities in Germany and the Netherlands.  He received his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School in 2004.

Fluent in Korean, Jonathan is admitted to practice in Georgia, Florida, and New York.
