Lisa F. MillerAssociate

 LISA F. MILLER is an associate in the firm’s Tallahassee office.  Lisa was born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and received her Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from the University of Florida in Gainesville.  Lisa also attended law school at the University of Florida, receiving her Juris Doctorate with honors and graduating from the University’s Environmental and Land Use Law Program. Lisa practiced in the areas of administrative and environmental law before joining Smith, Currie & Hancock in 2005, where she currently practices in the areas of construction contracts, construction litigation, and administrative and environmental law, with an emphasis on coastal construction permitting, state and federal wetlands permitting and sovereign submerged lands authorizations.  In addition to practicing law, Lisa has taught legal research and writing classes at the college level and has published articles in the Florida Bar Journal and the Florida Environmental and Land Use Law treatise.
