IAN C. CLARKE joined the Atlanta office of Smith, Currie & Hancock LLP in 2007. Ian attended Florida Agriculture and Mechanical University in Tallahassee, Florida, receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, with honors, in 1995. Prior to law school, Ian worked as a network engineer and as a global brand manager in the telecommunications industry. He received his Juris Doctor from Emory University Law School in Atlanta, Georgia. While at Emory he served as Vice-President of the Black Law Student Association, Public Defender for the Professional Conduct Court and was a member of the Emory Moot Court Special Teams. He received the Robert Beynart Award for Professionalism and Ethics, The Greenberg Traurig Outstanding Advocate Award, The Pro Bono Project Service Award and was inducted into The Order of Barristers.
Ian is also a registered civil and juvenile mediator with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution.
