Department of Transportation, 1975-1984.  Member: State Bars of Georgia and Pennsylvania; Public Contract Law Section of the American Bar Association; Construction Industry Forum of the American Bar Association.  Extensive national experience in public and private contracts, coupled with international experience primarily in China, Latin America, and Europe.  Recent Significant Matters: Represented contractor in successful bid protest and eventual award of $350 million contract for expansion of a major international airport; Represented contractor in bid protest concerning U.S. Government’s award of a $100 million contract for satellite terminals; Represented constructor against construction manager in litigation concerning anthracite-burning power plant in Hanfeng, Shaanxi Province, PRC; Represented general contractor in bi-lingual arbitration against a Latin American Government, resulting in $51 million award in the contractor’s favor; Represented EPC contractor in ICC arbitration in Paris against Italian developer concerning construction of two gas-fired power plants.
