GEORGE D. WENICK spent nine years with the Office of Attorney General of Pennsylvania, where he served as Senior Claims Attorney, and handled highway construction claims and litigation. Mr. Wenick received his B.S. and J.D. degrees at the University of Pittsburgh , graduating from law school in 1975. He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the U.S. Claims Court, the Third, Fourth, and Eleventh U.S. Circuit Courts of Appeal, and is a member of the Georgia and Pennsylvania Bars. Mr. Wenick has spent his professional career handling large and complex litigation and arbitration. Most of his cases have been in the construction industry representing general and specialty contractors, architects and engineers, sureties, and public and private owners, involving projects in more than half of the fifty states and Puerto Rico. As claimant's counsel, he has secured several million-dollar plus verdicts, awards, and settlements, including the jury verdicts in C.N. Flagg v. Texas Eastern Gas Pipeline Co. (Mid. Dist. Pa.) and Sauer, Inc. v. Fru-Con Construction Corp. (Cir. Ct. of Marion Cty, W. Va.), that were returned in the exact amounts sought. Equally experienced on the defendant's side of the courtroom, he has secured defense verdicts and judgments in major professional liability cases.
