Evangelin LeeAssociate

EVANGELIN LEE is an associate in the Las Vegas office of Smith, Currie & Hancock LLP.  She received a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese Language & Literature from the University of Michigan in 2003.  While in college, she was Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Asian Pacific American Women's Journal.  Evangelin received her J.D. from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law in December 2006.

While attending law school, she served as Judicial Extern to the Honorable Michael L. Douglas of the Supreme Court of Nevada.  She was elected as the ABA Law Student Division Liaison to the Forum on the Construction Industry in 2006.  During law school, she served as Legal Intern to the Legal Aid and Defender Association in Pontiac, Michigan, volunteered at the Partners in Pro Bono program sponsored by Clark County Legal Services, and completed her pro bono requirement by teaching family law in legal education classes sponsored by William S. Boyd School of Law.  She received academic awards in Wills, Trusts, & Estates, Civil Procedure II, Criminal Procedure and Business Organizations.

Although born in New York, New York, Evangelin grew up in Troy, Michigan.  She currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada. Evangelin is fluent in Korean and speaks conversational Japanese.
